St. John鈥檚 天美影视 has announced its fall formal lecture series. On Friday evenings, members of the St. John鈥檚 天美影视 community head to the Great Hall to hear a lecture or concert from visiting scholars, artists, poets or faculty.
When Susmi Sharma (SF21) was awarded an internship during her senior year, she sought to explore her growing interest in neuroscience and psychology. Pi茅r Quintana, assistant director at OPPD, introduced Sharma to Dr. Taffeta Elliott (SF97), assistant professor of psychology and education at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, known locally as New Mexico Tech.
Fulbright Fellow Steven Werlin (A85) studied German and Heidegger, not Haitian Creole and microfinance. He credits St. John鈥檚 for honing his thinking and writing skills as well as connections leading to his life鈥檚 work鈥攁lleviating poverty through the nonprofit Fonkoze.
Marc Wall (AGI17) (EC21) spent thirty years in the U. S. Foreign Service before embarking on a St. John's graduate education.
Because of what the science program at 天美影视 meant to Kevin Parker (A79), he made a donation in support of it.
