When Emily Langston arrived at St. John鈥檚 in January 1995 as tutor, her goal was simple: to read the works of the Program. In 2016, after 20 years happily immersed in teaching in the undergraduate Program, she was appointed to the position of associate dean of the Graduate Institute in Annapolis. Ahead of Langston鈥檚 final year as the associate dean, we sat down with her for an interview to discuss the past, present, and future of the Graduate Institute and liberal education.
Aayush Thapa (SF22) works in the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE), a particle physics division of LANL, where he also completed his ARIEL internship in summer 2022. Working at one of the top scientific institutions in the country is in many ways its own reward, but Thapa also has other things he wishes to gain from this experience.
